Fenbendazole 222mg tablets are primarily used as an antiparasitic medication, specifically to treat intestinal worm infections in animals. It's an FDA-approved anthelmintic that works by disrupting the parasites' metabolism and inhibiting their growth. While primarily used in veterinary medicine, fenbendazole has also been investigated for potential anticancer effects in humans, though this use is not yet established. 

Fenbendazole, [5-(phenylthio)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]carbamic acid methyl ester, is widely used to treat pinworms, other helminthes, and a variety of parasitic infections in laboratory animals, livestock, companion animals, and people (1–3).

It is used to treat coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in people who have mild to moderate symptoms and have a high risk for COVID-19 complications.
It helps people who have COVID-19 to stay out of the hospital.
